The firm

“Frantoio D' Orazio” was founded in the ‘30 for initiative of the founder of family D’Orazio. It is situated in Conversano, a medieval city next to the sea, in a picturesque hilly angle of  Apulia.

Characterized by family management, the crusher was renewed for few years with new machineries, connecting innovation and tradition, for a better exalting of the goodness and fragrance of the olive oil.
The company cultivates their own olives and selects only those of Conversano, privileging the quality to the quantity.
Besides its oil “Frantoio D' Orazio” commercializes the products of the soil such as: “sottoli”, “taralli” (produced with its own extra virgin olive oil), jams, vegetables, dried fruits and “pasta”. 

During the period of the “frangitura” (when the olives are chopped), the visitors of the crusher can assist to the workmanship and taste the oil been just born accompanied by the products of the “Larder of aunt Maria”.
